Software Cost

An annual fee of $500 per workstation entitles you to a variety of OpenVMS and Tru64 UNIX software products, including unlimited user licenses for OpenVMS and Tru64 UNIX C, Fortran, and Pascal compilers; and networking software.

Distribution

OpenVMS and Tru64 software is distributed via CD-ROM, available from the Point of Contact.

Considerations

Most of the OpenVMS and Tru64 UNIX software products require a Product Authorization Key (PAK) to be installed in the License Management Facility (LMF) before you can use them. PAKs are obtained from CITES and expire yearly.
