Storage Infrastructure

This page defines the "storage infrastructure" term used frequently throughout CITES service level definitions.

Some CITES services rely on data storage as part of the service itself (for instance, CITES NetFiles, which provides online file storage) or to back up important data in case of a power failure or other emergency. The term "storage infrastructure" refers to the data storage equipment and the mechanism to make backups and store them in secure locations.
