Description

MassMail provides a convenient web interface to submit and distribute email to five large campus audiences: Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students, Faculty, Civil Service Staff, and Academic Professionals. Each MassMail must be approved by a designated University office during the submission process before being sent to the specified campus audiences. An archive of past messages sent via MassMail is also available on the MassMail webpage.

Who can use this service

Campus faculty, staff, and students

When the service is available for use

Supported Service Hours:
8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday

Extended Service Hours:
5:00 P.M. to 5:30 A.M. Monday through Friday
7:30 A.M. to 8:30 A.M. Monday through Friday
Weekends (excluding the Maintenance Hours listed below)

Maintenance Hours:
5:30 A.M. to 7:30 A.M. Monday through Friday
5:30 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Saturday
5:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Sunday

What you must have in order to use the service

To submit a MassMail or view the MassMail archives you need the following:
  • NetID and NetID password
  • Banner expense account
  • Computer with internet connection
  • Graphics-capable web browser (most recent browsers have this capability)

Cost

The cost depends on the intended recipients of your email:
  • Any combination of Faculty, Civil Service Staff, and Academic Professionals: $50
  • Undergraduate Students: $150
  • Graduate Students: $50
