Description |
Iris allows network administrators to manage
their ports on CITES-managed multi-VLAN switches, and view traffic-related
statistics or search for specific MAC addresses on their network(s). |
Who can use this service |
Campus network administrators who are listed
in Contact Manager with
'Switch Mgmt' authority. |
When the service is available for use |
Supported
Service Hours:
8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday
Extended Service
Hours:
5:00 P.M. to 5:30 A.M. Monday through Friday
Weekends (excluding the Maintenance
Hours listed below)
Maintenance Hours:
5:30 A.M. to 7:30 A.M. Monday through Friday
5:30 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Saturday
5:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Sunday

What you must have in order to use the service |
- Computer with network connection
- Web browser that supports 128 bit encryption (most recent web
browsers have this capability). Opera and older versions of Netscape,
such as Netscape 4, are not supported.
- Network administrators must be listed in Contact Manager with
'Switch Mgmt' authority
