Wireless status

One of the goals of the Campus Network Upgrade Project is to provide UIUCnet Wireless coverage to all public spaces in the buildings being provided with wiring upgrades. For the purpose of the upgrade, a "public space" is defined as any space in a campus building where students and/or faculty may meet and collaborate.

Current campus wireless locations: This map and list are constantly being updated with the newest locations on campus that provide wireless access to students, faculty, and staff.

Wireless equipment: For more information about which wireless equipment to choose, see the descriptions and explanation of what is currently used and will be in use in the future.

Requesting additional wireless coverage: Representatives from departments that would like additional wireless in their building can follow these instructions to obtain coverage.
