Building Status

There are several levels of detail to view the scope and status of the buildings involved in the Campus Network Upgrade Project, ranging from an individual building's upgrade metrics and milestones to the status of the project as a whole.

Individual buildings

With this pull-down menu you can select an individual building to learn more about its status as part of the Campus Network Upgrade Project.

Metrics include: General Building Data; Design Milestones; Construction Milestones; Communication Equipment Room (CER) milestones; and general building statistics (e.g., number of new cabling drops, new Category 6 data jacks, UIUCnet Wireless access points, 100 Megabits per second (Mbps) Ethernet switch ports, 1 Gigabits per second (Gbps) Ethernet switch ports). Individual notes are also included for some buildings.

There are currently 95 buildings in this list.

This page lists the names of buildings that have just been completed or are currently under construction; the construction start and estimated finish dates; and the cutover dates to new equipment and wiring:

Detailed building status table

The detailed building status table of campus building upgrades is divided into groups based on the calendar year a building is selected for construction.

For each building, information is available starting with the dates when the original drawings were issued through the final construction completion date. The table is updated quarterly:
