Building lists for the campus network upgrade project

Buildings

The three tables below list the buildings approved by the Academic Network Advisory Group (ANAG) for the first three years of the 5-year Campus Network Upgrade Project.

Each college or unit at the Urbana campus establishes its own priorities for the Campus Network Upgrade Project in its buildings. Colleges and units also determine their approaches to addressing space and other associated issues. ANAG reviews and vets priorities that go across colleges and advises the CIO (within the priorities set by each college) regarding which buildings are to be upgraded, in what order, over the life of the project.

In most cases, buildings on the Year 1 list will be upgraded before buildings on the Year 2 list. There are occasionally delays due to the scope of a building's upgrade or the programatic needs of the unit(s) in a building that result in the actual work being pushed back into a later project year.
