NetID Claiming for Graduate Students
Your NetID
Your Network ID (NetID) is a unique username that you will use to identify yourself when you log in to a variety of important campus computer applications, and it must be "claimed" before you can set your NetID password and other passwords.
You will receive an email from the Graduate College that contains instructions for claiming your NetID and setting your NetID password online. These emails are distributed at various times throughout the summer months, depending on the date of your admission. You are not eligible to claim your NetID until you have received your notification email.
After you have set up your Net ID and password, you will be able to link to the EnterpriseID page. CITES encourages you to go ahead and set up your EnterpriseID and password as well. Your Enterprise ID will allow you to claim your housing contract and to access the Student Self-Service Online Registration Forms.
If you have already claimed your NetID and set your NetID password but don’t remember what your password is, you can use the online CITES Password Manager to reset your password. You can also reset it by fax (the form can be found on the CITES Password Manager page) or in person at the CITES Help Desk.
