Suggestion #1: Create Only Two Passwords

Although each of the above passwords is set independently, you can set some of them to be the same. For security reasons, we recommend creating two passwords:

  • Use one password for your NetID and EnterpriseID
  • Use the other for Express Email, Active Directory, and the ICS computing labs

The requirements for acceptable passwords are different for different systems. For example, a password that is acceptable for use as a NetID password may not be acceptable as an EnterpriseID password. Please note these requirements when you set your passwords.

To change many of your passwords, go to the CITES Password Home Page.

Visit the Guide to Passwords page for very useful information about setting and using passwords. The CITES Password Quick Reference Guide gives an overview of which services use which usernames and passwords.
