Connecting in the Residence Halls
All University Residence Halls have computer centers, open 24 hours a day,
for resident use. The labs offer computers, scanners, and high-resolution laser
printers. Staff are available in the evenings if you need help.
Students can also connect to network resources
using the University Residence Hall Network (URHnet). URHnet,
which is jointly sponsored by Housing and CITES, brings Ethernet-based computer
communications (10Mbps) to student rooms. A complete overview and guide to
URHnet, including instructions on what you’ll need to get connected,
is available on the URHnet
and Troubleshooting pages.
