Block Party 2007

For the sixth consecutive year, CITES co-sponsored the Division of Campus Recreation's Block Party for incoming students.

Block Party 2007 was held on Sunday, August 19, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at CRCE and was open to all new students. The CITES "block" was the Cap'n CITES Pirate Party, and featured a plank walk and other pirate-themed games and decorations. Almost 1,000 students registered to win the grand prize, a Nintendo Wii game console. More than 50 CITES staff members helped run the games and serve up popcorn and snow cones to all who attended.

A sweet side benefit: students receive information about CITES services in a fun, friendly way.
