Putting Your Resume Online

This page describes how you can put your resume online using NetFiles.

I'm graduating this semester. How can I put my resume online?

CITES NetFiles makes it easy to publish web pages and other files.

  1. For maximum readability, you'll need to convert your resume to a web-usable format such as HTML or PDF. For assistance creating these documents, there are a number of good HTML tutorials online. Many word-processing programs allow you to save documents as PDFs.
  2. Upload your resume to your CITES NetFiles www directory. Your resume is now available on the web at https://netfiles.uiuc.edu/YourNetID/www/YourResumeFilename
