Computer-Assisted Instructional Specialist

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) seeks an experienced and creative individual for a regular, full-time (12-month) position as a Computer-Assisted Instructional Specialist for the Educational Technologies division of Campus Information Technologies and Educational Services (CITES). This staff position entails providing one-on-one consulting and classroom instruction to faculty, staff and students on the use of computer based communication, information delivery systems and instructional applications, particularly WebCT Vista. The bulk of the work involves consulting with faculty and assisting them with the pedagogy and design issues entailed in using technology in their teaching.
