Iris Scenarios: Speed and Duplex Settings

CAUTION: Changing speed and/or duplex settings can cause temporary disruption of service. Make sure you understand the issues of disabling auto-negotiation.

Selecting one port to edit

From a Port Status Overview page containing the port you wish to edit, clicking either the Speed link or the Change Settings tab will take you to an Edit Port Information page (shown here).

Selecting a group of ports to edit

From a Port Status Overview page (shown here), the first column contains an empty checkbox. After checking the boxes for the group of ports you wish to edit, click on the Change Settings tab.

All of the selected ports will be listed in the Edit Port Information page (shown here).

You can change the duplex and speed settings in the Edit Port Information page for a port (or group of ports).

You'll need to individually select the correct option from the menu lists for each port you're changing. (Iris doesn't offer an option to assign selected settings to every item on a page.)

Once you've arranged the speed and duplexing options to your liking, however, a single click on the Commit Changes button will apply the changes to all the ports shown.
