ICS is currently accepting applications for the Fall 2007 semester.

Instructional Computing Sites hires primarily undergraduate students to work as Site Consultants in our labs. Site Consultants are customer service representatives responsible for troubleshooting common problems with Windows and Apple computers, as well as answering routine questions about software packages such as Microsoft Office.

Application requirements

• Able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week; 15-20 is preferred.
• An undergraduate student in good standing at the UIUC campus.
• Posess good customer service and communication skills.

Desired technical skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Familiarity with common internet applications (Expressmail, opening/downloading files)
