Illini Hall room 23 is CITES Educational Technologies' new training and course development lab. Illini Hall is equipped to allow CITES EdTech staff to deliver software training and professional development activities to faculty and staff. It is also designed to enable EdTech staff to collaborate and consult with faculty/staff to successfully integrate technology into their teaching practices.
Location
The EdTech Computer Lab is located in room 23 Illini Hall. Illini Hall is located at the corners of Wright and John streets. Its central campus location makes it easy to reach. View a campus map of Illini Hall.
Equipment
Illini Hall is a multipurpose facility that has:
- A Windows-based laboratory with 16 Windows 2000 workstations & a projection system.
- A Macintosh-based computer laboratory with 4 MacOS G5 computers.
- A conference area with a 10 seat table and a Sony projection system.
Accessibility
There are two workstations (a Windows workstation and a MacOS computer) designed for accessibility. The desks of the workstations are height-adjustable to accommodate wheel-chairs and the monitors are wide screen 25-inch displays to assist visually impaired people.
