This is a brief guide to the passwords needed for the services provided
by CITES Educational Technologies. Illinois Compass and Mallard use NetID login
and NetID password. WebBoard uses NetID login, but has a password
unique to that system.
Illinois Compass (NetID password)
Illinois Compass will use NetID authentication.

Mallard (NetID password)
Mallard uses NetID authentication. If you've
forgotten your NetID password, see What
to Do if You've Forgotten Your NetID Password.
WebBoard (Unique password)
Students in classes with WebBoard sites will receive their password via email at the
beginning of the semester when rosters are uploaded into WebBoard. Passwords of students who have used
WebBoard in previous semesters will not be changed. Students who have
forgotten their WebBoard password should go to the login page for their
course and click the "Forgot your Password" link.
