Literacy and Teaching with Technology (PDF)
Materials developed by Peggy Lant of California State University Hayward
for the 2001 Faculty Summer Institute. She writes, "Because technology
allows us to use, manipulate, store, and manage information differently,
we must--with our students--develop new sorts of literacy and a wider
range of skills with respect to the information we deal with in our
studies."

Library Tutorial
Sponsored by the UT System Digital Library, this interactive module
helps students think about how to use different types of sources to
find good information. The version of the module that uses plugins
uses sound, animation, and interactive games to keep students interested,
and mini-quizzes help reinforce the information presented.
