Blog Topics
Blog Topics let you create your own messages or blogs and post them on Compass for the instructor or other students enrolled in the class to comment on.
To access your discussion, select the Discussions button under Course Tools on the navigation bar.

Here, you will have the option to:
- View existing blogs and their comments
- Post comments on existing blogs
- Create your own blog
Here’s how the main Blog Topics screen looks. You will able to view all of the posted blogs from this screen.

Creating a Blog
Click on Create Message. This opens a new window that lets you create your blog.

Enter a Subject and Message. When you are finished with your blog and would like to submit it, click Post. If you would like to see what your post will look like before you submit it, click Preview. If you would like to close your message and come back to it later, click Save as Draft. If you would like to cancel your message and start over, click Cancel.

Once you click on Post, you will get a confirmation saying the blog was successfully posted. You will then be returned to the Blogs main screen.
