Open Source LON-CAPA Assessment System

Christine Yerkes discussed her adoption of the open-source LON-CAPA online assessment system. LON-CAPA is a web-based course management system that allows the following: content sharing and content reusability; a large set of resources in physics/astronomy, chemistry, biology, mathematics/statistics, and geology; creation and grading of randomized homework, quizzes, or exams; and the ability to report grades and give feedback with a wide variety of options.
