Jim Witte (Instructional Technology Specialist, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences)

Students learn better when the right kinds of graphics are added to text. At this brown bag, Jim Witte focused on the technical and instructional design issues involved in representing course content in a visual way. In particular, he talked about ways in which common software like PowerPoint and graphics programs like Photoshop can be better utilized in educational settings.
