Teaching with NetFiles
Learn how to use NetFiles as an instructional tool to provide students links to large files, collaborate on group projects and papers, and manage class project web sites.
Create Your Own Instructional Web Sites
This workshop will cover everything faculty need to know to get started building their own web sites to aid in their teaching. Topics to be covered include: the basics of web servers, the basics of web design and development, creating and editing pages in Dreamweaver, and publishing web sites in Netfiles or Illinois Compass.
Prepare Your Students to Publish on the Web
This session is intended for faculty who are considering assignments that involve creating and publishing web sites. We will explore the various aspects involved in adapting assignments for web publication, design and communication issues of the web, and how to communicate web publishing skills to your students.
