EdTech Instructional Design Consulting Services

With the end of the Fall semester just around the corner, instructors will soon need to start preparing their courses for the spring semester. Six academic professionals are available to provide their expertise in instructional design and educational technologies. They are well versed in a variety of applications such as Illinois Compass, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Respondus, StudyMate, and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). They can also assist instructors in exploring and integrating in the classroom emerging technologies such as blogs, wikis, and podcasting.

Consulting allows instructors to obtain specialized advice on specific issues and teaching endeavors. EdTech consultants can help identify ways in which technology can assist in reaching pedagogical goals.

Consultants can help instructors take advantage of educational technology in order to:

  • Improve student performance
  • Stimulate student creativity
  • Enhance learning outcomes
  • Create efficiencies in managing large enrollment classes

EdTech consultants can also set up customized training sessions for faculty, TAs, RAs and staff to address the unique needs of a department, course, or research team.

Consultants are available Monday through Friday, 8:30 A.M. ~ 12:00 P.M. and 1:00 P.M. ~ 5:00 P.M. Appointments are preferred. Visit the EdTech web site or call us at (217) 333-1078 to speak with a specialist and make arrangements. All training and consulting services are provided for FREE!
