Student Worker - Web and Graphic Designer, #8656
Description: This position is responsible for supporting the web and graphic design for CITES EdTech and involves working closely with the department Webmaster, programmers, training specialists, and consultants to produce high quality web pages for the EdTech public site, in-house site, and special event sites, as required. Starting pay is $7.50 an hour, and the position will require an average of 10 – 20 hours of work per week.
Required Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of HTML (XHTML), Macromedia
Dreamweaver MX, Adobe Photoshop, and CSS
- Working knowledge of Javascript
- General knowledge of web site
management and information architecture
- Good written and oral communication
skills
- Ability to learn new things quickly
Highly Desirable Qualifications:
- Familiarity with MS PowerPoint and
QuickTime
- Examples of prior work
