Subject to certain requirements, Verizon Wireless customers can use their tri-mode or all-digital phones in the countries listed above when roaming on CDMA network of carriers with which Verizon Wireless has negotiated roaming agreements. Calling features while roaming are subject to local capabilities and may not be available while roaming internationally.

Pricing

The roaming rates while traveling is $0.69/per minute (may be higher for some calling plans) plus the servicing carrier's long-distance charges, tool charges, surcharges, and taxes, which are billed on a pass-through basis. A list of roaming rates by country and additional information is available on the Verizon web site.

International long-distance (automatic call delivery) rates apply for incoming calls and voicemail messages while roaming.  The automatic call delivery rates vary depending on the country in which the customer is roaming when the call or voice mail is received. See Verizon's rate table for more details.
