Oracle Calendar for the Web Basics
This page contains basic information about how to use Oracle Calendar's web interface.
Logging in and out
- Go to https://calendar.uiuc.edu.
- For User ID, type your NetID.
- For Password, enter your Oracle Calendar password.
- Click Sign in.
- When you are ready to exit the calendar, click the Logout button
.
Overview of the agenda screen
When you log in to Oracle Calendar your agenda displays the view you were using last. The calendar below is using the weekly view.
Use the toolbar to manage and navigate your calendar.
Move to a specific date in your agenda

Navigation buttons move you differently depending on which view (Day, Week, Month) you are using. The buttons, from left to right, function as follows:
- back multiple units (months, weeks, or days)
- back 1 unit
- current
- forward 1 unit
- forward multiple units
Icons displayed for each event indicate the event's status and details:
- The people icon
indicates that you have invited people to the event. - The pencil icon
indicates that details have been entered for the event. - The paper icon
shows that a file has been attached to the event. - Attendance is indicated by
a checkmark for "I will attend"
an x for "I will not attend"
a question mark for "I will confirm later"
- Daily Notes are represented by a thumbtack
. - Day Events are marked with a flag
. - The up and down arrow icons mark the importance of meetings:

Searching agendas
The tool for searching agendas is not available on the web. Use the Oracle Calendar desktop clients or Outlook Connector for this feature.
