User support

The CITES Help Desk provides assistance to Oracle Calendar users who have questions or problems using Oracle Calendar software or their account.

User training

Faculty and Staff Technology Training Team (FAST3) can provide Oracle Calendar user training classes upon request.

System support

The Oracle Calendar server is available at all times except during scheduled system maintenance, which may occur during CITES standard test times. If you notice any server problems outside the scheduled test times, please notify net-trouble@uiuc.edu.

CITES performs backups of data on the Oracle Calendar server every night. If the primary calendar server fails during the supported service hours of 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday, our spare hardware inventory will allow us to repair the hardware and restore the service within several hours. When an outage of longer than 4 hours is anticipated, CITES will place a backup system into production.

Service management

Oracle Calendar is supported by a CITES service manager 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday though Friday. If you have questions or problems regarding Oracle Calendar services in general, please send email to calendar@uiuc.edu.
